The story

Teknoman is the story of a young man named Blade, who has the unique power to transform himself into a mechanical being (think Guyver, but more robotic-like). It takes place on a future Earth where Venemoids, alien monsters, have invaded our planet. Now, this Blade seems to be perfect for beating these spiderlike creeps. There're just a few problems: he has a time limit, the aliens seem to be multiplying and worse--he's not the only one with this power! In a short time more and more adversaries keep popping up, and they seem to know him quite well...

My first encounter with the series

Teknoman is an anime series I used to watch years ago on Fox Kids. I guess it was my first mecha anime... anyhow, I was hooked! Anime itself has always been rare in the Netherlands (except for an occasional 'Akira' airing on TV) so I was really happy. I became a hardcore fan, wrote several fanfictions, drew tons of fanart, started a Tekka Fan Art Ring and also joined an RPG called Tekkaman 3000.
